As it always has been and will be, until a party appears that has the political will to develop this nations resources within its borders. Canada should be on of the wealthiest nations in the world. Sadly, we are joining the race to the bottom.

What defines a “wealthy nation”?
Is it the ruler(s) net worth?
The number of citizens not on the dole?
The number of millionaires?
The GDP?

Nation may refer to a large group of people who share a common language, culture, ethnicity, descent, or history. It also says nation can refer to “a people, race, or tribe; those having the same descent, language, and history.” Webster’s New Encyclopedic Dictionary defines nation as “a community of people composed of one or more nationalities with its own territory and government”

So, if most of the citizens are not wealthy, how can the nation be wealthy?

My dictionary says I am a native. I’m good with that.
