Prince George, B.C. – RCMP are searching for the lone male who held up the Scotiabank at the Spruceland mall in Prince George less than an hour ago.
RCMP Media Liaison Corporal Craig Douglass says a 9-1-1 call was made around 10:30, saying the bank had been held up.
Police say the suspect is described as early 30's, wearing a black toque, sunglasses, grey track suit, white runners. He is said to have been weilding a black hand gun and fled on foot.
While an immediate perimeter had been established, Corporal Douglass says people are free to come and go from Spruceland as Police activity is now moving to areas adjacent to the mall. A police dog has been brought on scene and is tracking the suspect.

Wow, in this day and age…..
he should be easy to find, he would be walking bull legged, must have some pretty big cahonees to pull that off.
Thanks for the laugh He spoke. :)
He spoke you made me laugh! Quinson scool was locked down for a bit as well but has reopened.
What ? Did he realize bank robbery is not a great career and decided to finish his garde 6 at Quinson?.
Given the borrowing rates, that’s a switch.

-Are they sure Trailer Park Boys wasnt being filmed here today?
I am more interested in this man’s story. Obviously desperate times calls for desperate measures, was this man an addict, desperate for money to score a hit?
It’s too bad Joe Public can’t get this kind of police response when his house gets broken in to.
I’m more interested in the K9’s story. He must have been excited to get out on a real tracking job. Bit of a challenge with all that ice and water around I would think.
Yes gus think about what is going through a dog’s mind, or anything else, as long as your thoughts are not on, or about, the “human condition”. I had no idea you were so closely affiliated with the CPC and Mr. Moore, try not to think about the human condition, like the 18.6 % child poverty rate here in BC.
Yes, if we had an unemployment rate at 18.6 %, how many of us would be pulling our hair out and gnashing our teeth at our government?
Yes, if we had an inflation rate at 18.6 %, how many of us would be pulling our hair out and gnashing our teeth at the government?
Yet when we use this same number to define the number and amount of our own kids living in poverty it is met with indifference. Why is this??? Perhaps too many of us think about what runs though a “dog’s” mind rather than “people”?
I think there are far to many people acting like dogs and breeding with out thinking.
guy probably just had to save up for property taxes…
