Prince George, B.C. – Three young Prince George residents  have  shown that when t comes to gifts, they  believe it is better to give than receive.

When Karen Myatovic asked her son Nico what he would like for his birthday, the answer caught her off guard.

Instead of asking for presents from his friends, he asked them to bring money that he could use to purchase gifts for the local hospital.

Friends Daunte and Mayata decided to do the same for their birthdays! With that money, they went and bought brand new toys and donated them to the Paediatric Ward at UHNBC.

The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation is passing along a  special Christmas thank you to Nico, Daunte, Mataya and their families who were kind enough to donate these toys.
