Prnce George, B.C. – The  BC Coroners Service has released the names of the two people who died in a crash near Houston on Sunday.

They were 49 year old Barry Gerald Lecuyer  and his wife, 55 year old Terri Janna Lecuyer from Prince Rupert.

Mr. Lecuyer was the driver and his wife the passenger in an SUV that was travelling westbound on Highway 16 in the evening of Dec. 29.

About 18 kilometres west of Houston, the SUV collided with an eastbound pickup truck. Road conditions were noted to be icy at the time.

Both victims were deceased at the scene of the crash.

The BC Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate these deaths.
