Ice Oval To Re-open For Weekend Use

Prince George, B.C. – Good news for those planning on doing a little outdoor ice skating this weekend.
The folks who take care of the Prince George outdoor ice oval behind CN Centre say they will be opening the facility at 2 this afternoon. The oval was shut down following warm temperatures this week which melted some of the ice. Temperatures which went down to minus 11 early this morning improved the situation to the point where the volunteer crew was able to do some additional flooding of the ice surface.
So there will be public skating from 2 until 8:30 tonight and 10am to 8:30pm tomorrow.
