Curling For Kids at PGGCC
Prince George, B.C. – Local curlers will be on the ice at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club this weekend to raise money for kids.
Specifically, the one-day mixed Doubles Curling Bonspiel is being held today in support of the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation. The curlers’ entry fees, plus money raised through the 50/50 draw and a silent auction will all go to the foundation. The golf and curling club is donating the ice time.
So you have two people on each rink, the first draw is at 9 a.m. with three 4-end games this morning and three more after lunch. Top two teams meet for the title and bragging rights while the third and fourth-place rinks meet in the consolation game.
Everyone is welcome inside to watch and keep their toes warm.
