It is Valentine’s  day,   the time lovers  are to show their  love, through  cards,  flowers and chocolates.

The  day is celebrated  in many countries around the world,  and  ( according to Wikipedia) began as day to “celebrate one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus”.

The day didn’t become associated with “love” until the 1300’s among those  who associated with poet Geoffrey Chaucer  . By the 1700’s in  England, Wikipedia says Valentine's Day had  “evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love  for each other by presenting flowers, offering  confectionery  and sending greeting cards.”
