Cougars Welcome Families To CN Centre
Prince George, B.C. – CN Centre will be rocking this afternoon as the Prince George Cougars invite the city to celebrate "Family Day with the Cougars".
The Cougars play the Portland Winterhawks at 2 this afternoon and the team is offering a four-ticket family pack (two adults and two children) for $39, which equates to a 33% saving on regular ticket prices. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided.
The team is also inviting fans to come to join the players on ice for the Cougars Family Skate from 5 to 6pm. "Holding the family skate after the game is a great way for families to spend quality time together, as well as a great opportunity for fans to interact with their favourite players on the ice," says Brandi Brodsky, Cougars Vice-President. "Holding the event now on a statutory holiday after a home game will allow even more fans and families to participate."

Are they serving beer?
Should have put the Cougars in Kin 3, about all they deserve, and let the Ironman do their thing inside the CN Center…would have made a lot more sense…
Don’t hold back, bcracer. Tell us how you really feel.
I’ve often wondered what it is that bc races.
The kids, and that is what they are, have been playing real well lately so why the dig?

Hey western2 ever thought about sitting in the alcohol free section? Just a tip for ya. That would probably be a logical solution to your issue.
thank you langdon. I realize you are right. we were told by many how we should have known to look for the alcohol free section. we didn’t think the alcohol section could or would pose a problem . Key words “we didn’t think”.
People who don’t like beer at a hockey game gotta give there head a shake. Soon beer will be served in movie theatres too. Its all about time, and people just need to accept it. If we didn’t make it so unavailable it wouldn’t be such a big deal. I think if I can get a beer at White Spot, I surely should be allowed to drink beer at a hockey game.
Lets stop debating it and just accept it.
Im GoldRush and thats my opinion.
