Vanderhoof, BC – Close to 500 residents living in Vanderhoof and to the west are without power this hour…

BC Hydro reports that service was knocked out to 378 customers living west of Snell Road and north of Telegraph Road just before 5am this morning.  The cause is under investigation.

Then, shortly before 10am this morning, another outage north of Kenny Dam road, left 90 residents without power.  Five customers in Fort Fraser have also been affected.

Hydro is hoping to have service restored by noon.
