Federal Funding For Two Rivers Gallery
Prince George, B.C. – The federal government is providing just over $38 thousand through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund to help the Prince George Regional Art Galley Association purchase and install some new specialized storage racks at the Two Rivers Gallery.
The equipment will be used to securely store two-dimensional artworks and will triple the Gallery’s current vertical storage capacity and safeguard pieces for future exhibition.
Cariboo-Prince George M.P. Dick Harris says “our government is proud to support local museums and galleries in their efforts to provide all Canadians with access to the arts and our shared heritage.” Prince George Regional Art Gallery Association Curator/Artistic Director George Harris says the federal money will allow the organization to “continue collecting responsibly and ensure the long-term care of the collection. We are thrilled and very grateful for the support.”

I have my art work securely displayed and it didn’t cost me $38,000.
Is that the money they took away from our veterans??
