Prince George, BC – Starting at 10am this morning, residents in northern BC can pre-register for tickets to the 2015 Canada Winter Games…

"We are offering front of the line access for northern BC residents to experience the biggest multi-sport and cultural event that north BC has ever hosted," says Games CEO Stuart Ballantyne.

Those who take advantage of the pre-registration will be granted access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale, guaranteeing they'll have the first opportunity for seat selection prior to tickets going on sale in September, says Ballantyne.

There is no cost to pre-register and the first 100 residents from northern BC to do so by May 31st will be entered into a draw for a package that includes tickets to the 2015 Games' Opening Ceremonies.

Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Christina Verticchio is expecting a swift uptake on this first opportunity to get in on the action, anticipating the 100 pre-registrations could be tallied by the end of the weekend.

WOWWWWW ticketmaster.. so much for the North getting a deal by getting first dips

Any idea on ticket prices? Can’t find any info anywhere.

Has anyone had any luck with the pre-registering link on TM?

Just signed up :)

Moose..no tickets at this time.. Just supposedly gives you first dibs when they do come on sale in sept

Ticket out of town maybe!

daisybee, the ticketmaster link wouldn’t let me sign up. It kept saying “there is something wrong with your order” without any clues as to what it was.

Isn’t advanced technology wonderful?

They asked me for a credit card. No thanks

Well I already had a account with ticketmaster. But total cost for me to sign up for pre order was $0.00

Well, if I don’t get tickets this time, then maybe next time. Its possible they could be held in BC somewhere, sometime, after 2035.

Ooops, I forgot, I will probably be dead in 2035.

Went back and checked some old emails and I do indeed have a ticketmaster account as well. However, there was an “error” processing my request and they’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Guess I won’t be going. :(
