Prince George, BC – Families were streaming into the Connaught Youth Centre today to take in the 2014 Mardi Gras Snow Daze Kids' Fun Fair…
There's still one hour left to get in on the action – with games booths, a craft table, and facepainting to brighten up the afternoon until 4pm. There is no admission charge, and games and food tickets are just 50-cents each.
Although he looks less-than-thrilled in this photo, three-year-old Colton Knight was enamoured with Prince George Fire Rescue's Sparky the Dog. Colton actually pulled Sparky and chaperone, Dallas Smith, along to a the basketball booth to watch him try for a basket. And, shortly after this pic, Colton parted from Sparky with a big hug.
Snow Daze events have been going on over the past three weeks, with just two more on the agenda: a country dance at the Hart Pioneer Centre at 8pm tonight (tickets are $10), and a poker run sent for Saturday, March 1st (registration at Riley's Pub in the Days Inn).
