Prince George, BC – The ball that may feel like a block of ice, but snowshoe volleyball will be a go – come sunshine, windchill, or both – as Pineview's Snow Frolics wraps this weekend…
While the final weekend of the Pineview community's winter festival is packed with events that are sure to take the chill off – starting with a pancake breakfast that begins at 7am this morning at the hall on Bendixon Road, there will be games for the kids from noon until 5pm, while teams take on snowshoe volleyball at nearby Malcolm McLeod Memorial Park. This evening's family dance begins at the hall at 7pm, with tickets available at the Pineview General Store for $5 each.
Tomorrow, the frolicking gets even more outrageous – in addition to the kids' games and snowshoe volleyball, there will be logger sports at noon, followed by outhouses races at 3:30pm.
