Prince George, B.C. – Weather conditions are having a negative impact on highway travel from Prince George east.

Freezing rain from Prince George to Crescent Spur, 161 kilometres east on Highway 16 has prompted a Travel Advisory.  Travel is not recommended unless it is absolutely necessary.

The advisory was updated on the Drive BC website at 7:13 this evening.  There is no indication how long it will remain in effect.
