Suspicious Deaths In Prince Rupert
Prince Rupert, B.C. – Mounties on the North Coast are investigating the suspicious deaths of two people.
Prince Rupert RCMP went to check on the wellbeing of a family living in the 500 block of Ebert Street Thursday at 5:20. Officers discovered the bodies of a teenage boy and an adult woman at the home.
"At this stage of the investigation it is far too early to speculate as to the circumstances that lead to the deaths of these two people, however members of the Prince Rupert General Investigation Section and North District Major Crime Unit are actively investigating", stated Constable Matt Ericson spokesman for the Prince Rupert RCMP. "We are however confident in stating that this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the members of the community. Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends affected by this tragic event."
Ericson says the RCMP will keep the community informed about the investigation as it progresses.
