Hospice Society Antique Fair Continues Today
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Hospice Society is hosting its annual Antique and Collectibles Fair at the Roll-A-Dome this weekend.
The fair is a major fundraiser for Hospice House, and this is the 18th year the event has been held. Donna Harned, who is in administration at Hospice House, says “money is raised by selling the tables to the vendors and all the admissions at the door is how we make our money, and the money goes to supporting the beds at Hospice House.”
Harned says the antique fair is very popular. She told us Saturday “there were people lined up this morning at 9 o’clock and there was a crush of people when the doors opened at 10. We have vendors from all over BC and I would say we have people from as far away as Terrace come for this one.”
The Antique and Collectibles Fair runs from 10 till 4 today. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for seniors, with all proceeds from admissions going to Hospice House.
