Organized by  the  second year  class of the Northern Medical program, this is the 9th year for the run, and the third year that all proceeds will be  going to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Working with Stride and Glide Sports and the Prince George Road Runners, the event  has an event for every level,  including a Kids Fun run of 1km as well as  walk/run of 5km/10km/21km.  The event raises  money through the registration fees and donations.

"It's a great opportunity to bring together Prince George's strong running community with the Northern Medical Program to join efforts in raising funds for the Spirit of the North,” added Stefan Widmer, Co-Run Organizer and 2nd year student in the Northern Medical Program.

The Kids Fun Run starts at 8:45 am and the race starts at 9 am this Sunday at the Hart Community Centre. Main registration for the event closes Saturday, April 12th at 6:00 pm,  but there will be sign up on the day of the race. Registration is $15.

To ensure the race starts on time,  participants are asked to show up at 8:30 to sign in and get their bib and timing chip.
