First Responders remain on-scene of apartment fire at 10th Avenue East and Central 250News photo
Prince George, B.C.- Prince George Fire Rescue is working to douse the flames that, so far, remains contained to a single unit in an apartment building on 10th Avenue, near Central Street…
The fire apparently broke out in the second floor of the unit and spread to the third floor. The resident of the suite is on-scene, but is understandably shaken and declined to comment to 250News at this time.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Photo at right shows smoke billowing from the second-floor balcony of the apartment and a ladder extended to a room on the third floor.
Damage to the roof appears extensive.
The blaze is burning in the 3100-block of 10th Avenue – between Central and Johnson Streets – meaning traffic cannot turn east off Highway 97 onto 10th at this time.
Comments
It looked like the flames were coming from a 2nd story apartment. I hope everyone is alright.
