Prince George, B.C.- The Explosives Disposal Unit of the RCMP is to arrive in Prince George this morning to deal with a couple of suspicious items.
The items were discovered yesterday in the area of 17th Avenue and Maple. A bomb sniffing police dog was brought on scene, but did not indicate the items were explosive. RCMP are taking precautionary measures by having the EDU arrive in town to dispose of the items.
RCMP Media Liaison Corporal, Craig Douglass says the description of the items does not match that of the explosive devices found on University Way on March 18th .
“These items found are suspicious, but there is no danger to the public” says Cpl. Douglass “The action we are taking is strictly precautionary.”
Police cordoned off the area and have kept it secured until the Explosives Disposal Unit arrives to deal with the items.

MUst be OK, didn’t hear anything.
That back alley looks better than some of our streets.
A lot of unilingual French people always crossing police lines here in Prince George? A town so great they named a future king after it.
