There is no collusion, it is just a case of the consumers being inadvertently exposed to force from a type of fastener characterized by a helical ridge, known as an external thread or just thread, wrapped around a cylinder!

Is it not just a case of supply and demand? The demand is higher on long weekends so the price rises. Isn’t it just simple economics or am I missing something?

It’s not supply and demand driven, this is nothing but price gouging IMO!
Raise the price of gas just before the long weekend high demand, and watch the Big Oil and Gas companies rake in the money at our expense.
Of course having a Liberal Government in that they fund raised for during the election doesn’t hurt either, so don’t expect either the Big Oil and Gas run Federal government or the indebted Provincial government to do anything… must be nice being an Oil and Gas Corporation in Canada, they get to screw everyone over, including our environment!

“There is no hurricanes anywhere is there?” .. there doesn’t have to be, they just have to “speculate” that there might be one somewhere in the world, sometime in the future.

Funny how the people who push the supply and demand logic fail to explain why when demand for electronics goes up, the price goes down.
