ever read the news down south where your from 02 ? horrendous stuff happening down there all the time. You should stick to posting where your from. Better yet, keep your simple minded comments to yourself, thanks.
In Prince George:
Great Street: Tabor Blvd – a wide road with not much traffic, and as the trees in the grass median mature it will only get better. Both sides of the street get sun during the day and it is well served with local services and recreation within walking distance.
Great Neighbourhood: Foothills subdivision. Mostly flat throughout with good parks and sidewalks for biking. Well serviced with wide blvds, bus routes, and walking access to UNBC or Spruceland. Hydro is underground and all city services available, as well as one of the best elementary schools in the city. Lowest crime rate in the country.
Great Public Space: In PG Fort George Park is the most iconic, but for utility for the community its probably the Exhibition Grounds including the soccer fields, aquatic center, ice rinks, and horse arena, as well as the potential that this land has for future recreation uses and events.
I agree with monkeyseemonkeydo. 02 should get a life in Abby and not spend his time criticizing PG.
I just Googled crime stats in Canadian cities. CTV news july 2013 states above average crimes for the nations cities. Kelowna is first, Vancouver, Abby-Mission third, then Victoria in that order. You really should find something more enjoyable to do in your retirement years . I love it here. It has everything I need ,that is all that matters until I retire on a beach somewhere sunny and warm ;) South fort George park and Connaught hill are both very nice spots just mention two of many.
