Deadline to Pre-Register for Tickets Closing In
Prince George, B.C. – The deadline to sign up to be first in line for 2015 Canada Winter Games tickets is looming.
"It's a pre- registration process that we've set up for Northern B.C. residents to basically put them at the front of the line when tickets go on sale" says Alyson Gourley-Cramer, Manager of Communications and Community Relations for the 2015 Games.
Tickets for the 18 different sporting events will be going on sale in the fall, but she says the pre-registration means Northern BC residents will get first crack at the best seats available. "When the tickets go on sale, those who pre-registered will get an email telling them the tickets are available, and there will be a window of opportunity for them to buy the tickets they want. Once that window closes, tickets will be made available to everyone else."
Pre-registering indicates you are interested in attending an event or events during the 2015 Games and that you would like to receive information on tickets, as they become available. There is no cost associated with pre-registration. "We've already had more than a thousand people register"says Gourley Cramer.
Pre-registering is as easy as following this link, but time is running out. The window for the pre-registration option closes ast 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard time tonight.
