Tete Jaune – Crews hope to have highway 16 open to traffic around noon today,, after a mud slide just east of the weigh scales, near the junction of highway 5 and 16,  closed the highway Saturday.

Crews have been working overnight in an attempt to re open the highway.

Crews opened one lane of the highway on Saturday night for a short period before another slide blocked the road.
