yup, if Green is doing it so is Stolz…. I wonder if they live together too?
Stolz defintely seems to be a very good little yes boy……
What ever will he do when she is gone… Quit I hope…..

Perhaps we could get Stoltz and Wilbur to run for Mayor. That way if they lose, they would be gone.

Who said “talk is cheap?”

Ben please investigate this a bit further. The Mayors expenses have to be higher than just $14 thousand. She went to China didn’t she? Isn’t it a legal requirement for elected officials to disclose all their expenses? How does the mayor get away with having IPG bury some of her travel expenses? Isn’t that type of wasteful spending of tax dollars what led to the resignation of the Alberta Premier?

Maybe Brian Skakun has the guts to ask the tough questions on this and get to the bottom of what it actually cost us poor taxpayers for the mayor and the city manager to make the grand tour across China.

Huh, $500 for his time at one meeting, how long are these meetings on average?

Oh boy, just remember folks–elections coming this November!!!

“They each also received $55.56 in benefits.”

Probably a misplaced period… as Green reportedly received $5,522.68 in benefits.

That is not an error . The benefits for each councillor were 55.56

So tell me how do they get 10,465.00 dollars that is Tax free. All my wages are Taxed. I need a deduction like that.

And both not worth one cent if all their positive contributions were put together.

Nobody pays tax on their first $10,527.00.

Not sure if you are correct on that one cougs, the mayor gets 30k non taxable and noone else does. Think a third of the salary is non taxable with the rest going on the federal form where they get an additional 10k like everyone else, could be wrong… wouldn’t be the first time

Must be a special politian thing. The only tax free benefit left out there is LOA, that I know of.. Interesting…

I heard some tradesmen are paying tax on a portion of their LOA. May be just a rumor though.

Thanks Elaine, it just looked kind of strange…wonder what it was for.
