Crews have  recently cleared the debris from the  site,  and  restoration work continues at the Copper Pig.

Still,  there is no definitive answer on the  cause of the fire.

Prince George Fire Rescue  ruled the  cause of the blaze as “undetermined”.  The RCMP have been probing the  blaze as well “The investigation  is  continuing” says Prince George RCMP  Media Liaison Officer Corporal Craig Douglass.  “There are still avenues of the investigation which we are pursuing” adds Cpl. Douglass.

Two businesses were destroyed,  and the Copper Pig  restaurant  sustained  significant damage in the  May 4th  blaze.
