Probe of George St. Fire Continues
Prince George, B.C. _ It has been over a month since flames ripped through some buildings on George Street in downtown Prince George.

Crews have recently cleared the debris from the site, and restoration work continues at the Copper Pig.
Still, there is no definitive answer on the cause of the fire.
Prince George Fire Rescue ruled the cause of the blaze as “undetermined”. The RCMP have been probing the blaze as well “The investigation is continuing” says Prince George RCMP Media Liaison Officer Corporal Craig Douglass. “There are still avenues of the investigation which we are pursuing” adds Cpl. Douglass.
Two businesses were destroyed, and the Copper Pig restaurant sustained significant damage in the May 4th blaze.
