Kind of explains partisanship in our party centric political system. Explains the immaturity of the political discourse and fear of open debate that permeates our democracy.
I have always said that a democracy is only as good as the level of education on the issues by its citizens that vote. If the citizens are ignorant through lack of experience or education, then one has to assume they are also ignorant or naive in their social perspectives and philosophical beliefs.
For example Ford and Harper are masters of leading the ignorant and unthinking through false slogans and talking points… a form of group think for social misfits and self righteous a-holes.
