Prince George, B.C.- Tonight’s super moon was superb.
This was the second of three super moons that we will experience this year. The first was on July 12, and there will be another on September 9th.
The Super moon happens when the moon is the closest to the Earth as it moves in its elliptical orbit.
Because it is so much closer to the Earth, it appears much larger than normal.
