Prince George, B.C. – The deadline has passed, and now it’s up to the selection committee to make a decision.

We’re talking about the  design  for the 2015 Canada Winter Games medals.

35 submissions were made to the 2015 Games  Society.    While most  of the submissions came from  British Columbia, there were submissions from as far away as Quebec.

The decision on  the winning design will be announced next month.  The winner will not  only get a gold medal, but a  silver and bronze in a complete commemorative set along with  an honorarium.

The winner will have national exposure for their  creative talents, as more than a thousand medals will be awarded during the Games.
