Prince George, B.C.- It’s  the  night to be Cruisin’ at the A&W .

It is “Cruisin’ to End MS Day”  at all  A&W’s  in  Canada,  with a special mini- Show and Shine set for the  Westgate  location.

“We figure there will be about 75 vehicles at that site tonight” says Cruisin’ Classics car club president George Windsor.   The vehicles,  vintage and  customs,  will be on hand to  help attract a crowd for the fundraising event.

One dollar from each Teen burger sold from every A&W will go towards  finding a cure for  Multiple Sclerosis.  Last year  the event raised $1.5 million dollars nationally, and about $20 thousand locally.

The Cruisin’ Classics have taken part in this event since it was started about 4 years ago “It’s such a great cause because all of the dollars raised here, will stay in Prince George” says Windsor.

This year there is  a little added incentive for the  classic car owners as there will be a “People’s Choice Award “ for the  favourite vehicle.

The Westgate location will also have a DJ on hand to pump out some tunes, and a silent auction to help raise more dollars for the cause.

The event is scheduled from 7-10 pm,  but the classic cars will be on site  at Westgate from 6 to about 8.
