Cougars Hopefuls Hit the Ice Tonight

Prince George, B.C. – This evening’s Black and White Intrasquad game at the CN Centre will be the first chance for Cougars’ fans to see how the new team will be shaped.
Over the weekend, the Cougars management and scouting staff have been evaluating more than 100 Prince George Cougars hopefuls. Tonight, that number will shrink substantially.
“All weekend long, we’ve received tremendous feedback from the visiting families and fans,” said Prince George Cougars Vice President, Business Andy Beesley. “The Black and White game provides a great opportunity for fans and families to celebrate the arrival of the New Ice Age, and this year there will be some new wrinkles involved with the game itself.”
Unlike previous seasons, tonight’s Black and White game is completely free of charge. Fans are more than welcome to give their season-ticket seats a ‘test drive,’ and it’s also a great opportunity for those fans who haven’t bought tickets yet to scout their potential seats at no charge. The game itself will have the national anthems, a PA Announcer and a sneak-peek of some more things that fans can expect once the 2014-2015 regular season begins.
The game starts at 7:00 p.m.
