Prince George, B.C. – A drug bust has sent a Prince George woman to jail.

RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says the arrest occurred in the wee hours of August 21 following the execution of a search warrant at a home on the 2100 block of Norwood Street.

He says 43 year old Karen Patricia Tremblay was arrested at the scene and alleged to be in possession of 4.6 grams of crack cocaine.

Douglass says she faces two charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breach of Undertaking.

Tremblay has been remanded until her next court appearance September 17 and according to Douglass is well known to police.

Douglass adds tips from the public played a key role in the arrest.

I wonder what the total cost is per arrest for these “well known to police” types is? Our justice system is so flawed that a person can repeatedly break the law yet not be locked up.

Sounds like you just described a Federal Senator.

yep, perhaps the example should be made from the Senator down.

We the tax payers don’t ask for much. we want a law where criminals pay the price of crime by sending time in jail.

Am I the only one “cracking” up at this headline? “)

Let her OD and get it over with. Another drain on society.
