Legebokoff Testifies
Prince George, B.C. – Cody Alan Legebokoff has taken the stand and is telling his side of the story which led to him being charged with the murders of Loren Leslie, Jill Stuchenko, Cynthia Maas and Natasha Lynn Montgomery.
Legebokoff says he had an involvement in the death of Jill Stuchenko, but testified “There are three other people involved in these charges”.
He won’t identify the other parties by name, instead, referring to them as “X”, “Y” and “Z”.
He told the court he will not identify them by name because “I could get a significant amount of jail time, possibly in a Federal Penitentiary, I will not go the Federal Pen as a rat on three murder charges, that’s just not in the cards.”
His testimony included details about his family life, of a family that got along well with each other, and took vacations camping, fishing and hunting. He told the court about his move to Lethbridge with a friend, and how he was doing the bar scene in that Alberta community before moving back to B.C. in the summer of 2009.
Legebokoff detailed his drug use, starting with marijuana and magic mushrooms, then his introduction to cocaine during a party at his place on Carney Street. The house parties at that address sometimes had hundreds of people show up “Word travels fast” about parties said Legebokoff.
The trial continues.
