Prince George, B.C. – Costco has cut a $65,474 cheque to Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

$38,444 of it was raised through May during the Campaign for Kids, another $19,265 was brought in through a barbecue raffle and Costco donated an additional $7,765.

All the proceeds will be put towards the Diagnostic SPECT CT which will provide more accurate and timely diagnosis for a variety of health concerns.

“We truly appreciate the partnership we have with Costco and the support of their members,” says Spirit of the North CEO Judy Neiser.

“For children it will mean less time laying still while undergoing the test and lower exposure to radiation.”
