Fire at Former Winton Global Planer Mill

Prince George, B.C. – A fire this hour at the former Winton Global planer mill.
There are witnesses suggesting the fire is contained to the roof of the building.
Two fire trucks, two ambulances, and police are on scene. There are no reports of any injuries.
The site has not been active for several years.
An auction had been held inside the mill recently, and a clean up crew had been on scene.
A member of the clean up crew said the wood chipper room went up in flames, but they were able to douse the flames and to put of the fire completely they had to rip out a wall.
Although there is no firm cause for this fire, there is speculation some grindings on the floor may have sparked.

Anyone know what the deal with this place is and why security is so tight there still? I pulled over into there a month or so back just to answer a phone call and within minutes security was there telling me I was trespassing and had to leave immediately.
Site of the new medical marijuana grow op. Very hush hush. At least that’s what Eagleone, Palopu and others “in the know” have told me ;-)
