Quesnel- Highway 97 is now closed south of Quesnel as RCMP are on the scene of a serious head on crash, near Sales Road this morning.

Details of the accident are not yet available.

Police says the road conditions, because of fog, are very poor . There is a detour by taking Redbluff road to  Maple Drive to Highway 97, however,  that drive may be slow as a hay truck has  gone off the road and  tow trucks will be needed to get  it out of the way.
