Games Gear Fridays In Prince George
Prince George, B.C.- From here on in, Fridays in Prince George will be known as Game Gear Fridays, a day when you are encouraged to wear your Canada Winter Games “gear” to show pride in the community and in the Games.
The announcement was made this morning at Canadian Tire on the heels of that store being named an official sponsor of the 2015 Canada Winter Games. Store owner, Selen Alpay said he “loves this amazing community of Prince George” and is humbled by the work of the Canada Winter Games Team. He said it is a natural fit for Canadian Tire, a company whose culture is based on the importance of sport, to be involved with the Canada Winter Games.
The Games Gear Friday program will provide options for organizations to “spread the spirit of the 2015 Games” organizations and businesses are encouraged to email 2015GamesGear@eventmax.net to find out more about the program.
All proceeds from the sale of games gear will go towards ensuring the Games are fully funded.

Your kidding, RIGHT?
They are not kidding. This is the way of the **New** world.
A side benefit is that we will be able to gauge the support for the games by the number of people wearing the gear. 3750 volunteers will probably be decked out, and then the locals. Hmmmm.
Maybe if it didn’t cost $69.99 for a simple polo shirt or over $100 for simple fleece jacket.
you pretty much got it covered moose.
I am going to finance the thing.
