Mounties Search for Hit & Run Suspect
Prince George, B.C. – A serious incident has Mounties seeking the public’s help.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass says it’s in relation to a Hit & Run which occurred last Wednesday (September 17) at approximately 8:45 p.m. at the corner of Pinko Road and Bendixon Road, just east of the city.
Once on scene, he says police located a pick-up truck in the ditch and the driver pinned.
Douglass says he was removed by members of the Pineview Volunteer Fire Department and later transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He says police believe the driver of a white Ford F-250 or F-350 collided with the pick-up and fled the area.
Douglass says the pick-up is believed to have front end damage including a missing headlight.
He says police have been unable to locate the Ford pick-up and says investigators are seeking the public’s help.
Douglass asks anyone with information to call the PG RCMP at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
