Terrace, B.C.- One person is dead, two others in hospital  as a result of a crash  about  2 kms east of Usk  on Highway 16.

Highway 16 is closed as investigators  examine  the scene.

We do know there were two vehicles involved in this crash and that   one was engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived on scene.

The two injured have been transported to Mills Hospital in Terrace

The highway is closed  at that location  with no word on when it might reopen or if there is any possible detour.
