Tax Sale Complete

Monday, September 29, 2014 @ 11:41 AM

Prince George, B.C. – Taxes for the properties that had been formerly occupied by Ric’s Grill, and the Willow Inn (also known as the Homeland, or Ranch Motel) were paid  before the  auction began this morning at Prince George City  Hall.

That means, both properties were removed from the list of properties to be offered up for auction because of unpaid taxes.

One hundred and fourteen properties had been listed last week  for  tax sale because of unpaid taxes.  Owners could avoid  having their properties sold at auction if they paid the amount owing before 10 this morning.

250News will have  more details tomorrow on the number of properties  sold,   the dollars collected, and the number of properties ( if any) which are now  owned by the City because they failed to  sell at auction.
