“We need to return to a steady focus on improving quality of life,” says Frizzell.

“Prince George has remarkable assets to create a balanced lifestyle. With key stakeholders ranging from Northern Health, to the college, to the university to the schools, parks, and jobs available here, we have so much to capitalize on.”

If re-elected, Frizzell also promises to “work for the establishment of of an ongoing Committee on Infrastructure,” and to lobby for improved financial accountability.

Voters go to the polls November 15.

Establish a committee! Woo hoo! He has my vote!

Garth Frizzell is a progressive candidate who understands the need to connect with Partner groups. His willingness to talk about the “elephant in the room” is apparent. Infrastructure is a big topic, and it will be a huge task to tackle in the next 4 years. I hope he is successful in his bid for city council. He is a community minded candidate.

Good to have Frizzell on board. Most of these first term Councilors should get re-elected, as the first three years only allows you to get your feet wet.

Third term too many, time to “smell the roses”. The opportunity for you to benchmark yourself as a proactive member of council has come and gone. I think many residents are quite tired of the nit picking that the past and current council have done, not enough get on it and get it done when it was “cost effective”. Heel dragging should only apply to a 3 year old at bath time, not city council members when it’s time to vote.

So he figures NOW is the time to be lobbying about our finances.. Not anytime during his first 6 yrs. way to step up.. 5.5 yrs to late. Just what we need another committee, the perfect time waster for a group of people.

Why in all his listing of employers here they all are from the government or work for the government? possibly showing where his loyalty is focused…

Oh yeah..he wants PG to be a more livable city so he voted against giving us older citizens a bigger venue to go enjoy ourselves by voting against the bar expansion. That’s the perfect example of a politician saying one thing then doing the exact opposite.

Time for whole new slate in my opinion there is only two worth voting back in as I have not forgot what they did for us last term. Some people should sit back and think twice what they haven’t done and did do.

Seems the old guard running again are hoping we have forgotten about the last terms they served, they all seem to be hoping we are very forgetful at the voting booth…

“It’s not what I have done, or didn’t do.. It’s what I am going to do.. Don’t let my record speak for my actions..lol”

The stats show most people do forget and just check names they’ve seen before.

That’s absolutely correct! It’s all about name recognition, which is why the person with the most signs usually gets in.

I find that quite sad that candidates with more money behind them are more likely to win. Isn’t that how we got stuck with Green for the last 6 years? I for one will vote for those candidates that provide something more valuable than money, their time to listen, their time to participate and a true desire to work fairly for the community. Money can’t buy my vote!!
