List of Council Hopefuls Grows
Prince George, B.C.- There are now 17 candidates officially vying for one of 8 seats on Prince George City Council.
Among the latest to file nomination papers is Dave Wilbur, who is seeking his third term on Council, although it will be his fourth election.
Also filing papers by mid week were:
Alex Huber : He ran for Mayor in the 2011 election and is now seeking a seat on Council.
Monica Peacock: Filed her papers less than three hours after announcing she has hopes of becoming a Councillor
Donald Roberts: who is a newcomer to the municipal political scene in Prince George.
Councilor Cameron Stolz is the only incumbent who has yet to file, although he has announced his intention to seek re-election. Once he files his papers, that will boost the number of candidates to 18.
The nomination period ends at 4 p.m. on Friday October 10th.

He may be trying to scrape together the funds to pay the nomination fee?
Where is the list of the 17 candidates?? Would be nice to go through the list to see what all the new candidates priority issues are, all at the same time for comparison purposes.
Anyone marking Stolz at the ballot box needs their head checked! IOM Frizzell, Skacun, Everitt, Hall and Krause are the only ones deserving of another term.
All official election info, including a list of candidates, is posted on the City of PG website. I’m not sure if I can post the link here, so head to the City’s mainpage and you will find a link to election info front and centre.

I’d voice the same opinion about anyone voting for Hall.
Stolz may run for Mayor! He certainly has enough name recognition to have as much of an opportunity as the others!
Not sure why my link to the City site showing the candidates was deleted?
It’s this site, axman. It treats links like they’re spam.
