Prince George, B.C – The deadline has come and gone for those wanting to seek one of seven available spots on the Prince George School Board.

18 candidates have filed their papers including six of seven incumbents – the lone exception being Sharon Bourassa.

The nomination period has also ended for those seeking election as Area Director in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. They are:

• Area A – Warren Wilson (unopposed)
• Area C – Lara Beckett (unopposed)
• Area D – Bill Empey (unopposed)
• Area E – Art Kaehn (unopposed)
• Area F – Faellen Bradner, Kevin Dunphy (incumbent)
• Area G – Terry Burgess (unopposed)
• Area H – Dannielle Alan, Bryan Monroe, Ken Starchuck (incumbent)
