Prince George, B.C. – The BC Coroners Service has identified the two pedestrians killed after they were struck by a commercial tractor-trailer last Thursday.

50 year old Patricia Mclelan Sims , and 49 year old David Sakawsky, both of Prince George were crossing Nicholson Street just before 7 a.m. when they were hit by a tractor-trailer making a left hand turn from 22nd Avenue onto Nicholson.

Both were deceased at the scene and the Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate.

Earlier last week a 36 year old man was killed when struck by a vehicle in the area of First and Dominion Street, a second man was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
