Wednesday, October 15, 2014 @ 4:01 AM

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George continue to investigate the  early morning  incident last  Thursday  which claimed the lives of
50 year old Patricia Sims-Mclelan and 49 year old David Sakawsky of Prince George.

The two died  when  they were  stuck by a  tractor trailer that was making a left hand turn  from 22nd Street on to Nicholson on October 9th.

While there have been  varying  reports on  how this  tragedy occurred,  RCMP say this kind of investigation is very complex and will take time to complete.

At this point in the investigation there is no evidence to suggest that speed or alcohol were factors.

Investigators would like to speak to everyone who witnessed this incident. Witness information may help determine how this incident could have happened. If you are a witness, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300.
