If a torch is lit in Ottawa, does anyone care?
Besides those with a vested interest of course.
I can’t help but wonder, how many of our local Winter Games officials have been flown to Ottawa and put up in hotels in order to attend this ceremony?
What kind of salaries are we paying to these people that seem to be having a great deal of “fun” on our dime? The salaries must be pretty darn good, considering that people left other jobs to take on these. Perhaps that can explain the great big smiles on their faces whenever they are in the media!
It’s the volunteers that make or break these kinds of events, but there always seems to be a lot of people at the top who are little more than piggies pigging out at the publicly funded trough!
Awesome! Can’t wait for it to arrive in PG and for the start of the Games!!
