Thun Family Gives Salvation Army Boost
Bill Glasgow and Neil Wilkinson of the salvation army accept cheque from the Thun family
Prince George, BC- For the second time in as many months the Cameron Thun family has made a significant donation to the Salvation Army in Prince George.
Today the Thun family handed over a cheque for $40 thousand dollars. That is on top of the $10 thousand they donated last month for the Salvation Army’s back to school back pack program.
“It’s about one Prince George family wanting to help other families” says Cameron Thun. “We just want to give back and make Prince George a better place.”
The money will go towards the Salvation Army’s capital plan at its new location on 18th Avenue. Specifically the dollars will be used to renovate the waiting room area.
