Last Meeting Tonight for PG School Board Prior to Election

Prince George, B.C. – A relatively light agenda tonight for what will be the final school board meeting before next month’s election.
Two policies will be up for approval and another for distribution.
One of those up for approval includes minor revisions to the boards’ communications policy – the other proposes revisions to school catchment areas, registration and student transfers.
It recommends catchment students be given registration priority over of out-of-catchment students.
Also tonight a staff report promoting a respectful workplace will be up for approval for distribution to reference groups for input.
The meeting starts at 7 pm at the district board office on Ferry Avenue.

In my opinion, there should be no decision making allowed (no minor how insignificant the matter may appear to be) while there is an election going on.
