Local Wins International Title
Prince George, B.C.- The Engagement and Communications Manager for Integris Credit Union in Prince George, has just been given national recognition. Alex Castley has won the “Next Top Credit Union Executive Challenge” which is an international competition.
The 30 year old submitted a video to the competition, detailing methods for attracting a younger demographic to the services offered by Integris.
That video got him into the top five, a $6,000 prize package and a trip to the final in Florida where he competed in audience and online voting, social media engagement and two separate judging panels.
He came out on top, winning a training package valued at $20 thousand dollars.
Castley was born in Prince George and graduated from UNBC. “Alex is a wonderful example of a recent graduate who is applying the knowledge he learned in the classroom to his career,” says UNBC President Daniel Weeks.
