Monday, November 10, 2014 @ 9:16 AM

Prince George, B.C. – North District RCMP has confirmed that yesterday’s fatal crash on Upper Fraser Highway was the result of a case of “Road Rage.”

Police say preliminary investigations indicate that it was fueled by a dispute between two individuals and involved two vehicles.

The crash occurred on Upper Fraser Highway, just east of the Willow River town site, at approximately 3:20 pm when one of the vehicles failed to negotiate a curve, entered a ditch and struck a driveway support.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it closed the highway for approximately six hours while police investigated the incident.

They say the second driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with police.

No names are being released at this time and RCMP ask any witnesses to contact them at 250-649-4004.
