Hunting Guide Dies Near Kitimat

Kitimat B.C.- A hunting guide has died, after falling from a cliff near Kitimat.
RCMP say they had been advised a Satellite Personal Beacon (SPOT) had been activated around 8:48 last night up the Kemano River near Kitimat
Police were advised a hunting guide had fallen off a cliff.
The Joint Rescue Command Center out of Comox, activated a rescue squadron to assisted with the rescue – recovery.
The guide was located this morning, around 8:40. but had succumbed to his injuries.
Although his name has not been released, RCMP say the deceased is a 26 year old male from Alberta.
The Coroner’s Office and Kitimat RMP continue to investigate.
